Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. John15:4
The absence of God’s love in our life is our misery. If we choose to live in the presence of God and put Jesus at the centre we can give this abscence, this misery, to Him. He will gently take the misery and fill it with His love. Then we will be walking with Him and resembling Him more and more as time goes on. At the beginning of our walk, we see how much we fall short and this is utterly humbling but Jesus is yearning to take us into his arms and change us by his grace. All we have to do is receive but we must remain in Him, seek him at all times and give every day to Him.
